Cinema 4 is coming back, but you may not have seen the big screen yet.
The new movie theatre in Calgary has already been sold out for the summer season, and we’ve already seen plenty of other major blockbusters.
What’s next?
We have to get some screenings on the weekend before the new film is released, and I think the movie festival we’re all planning for this weekend is going to be a blast.
Cinema 4 has been on the road since February, and is looking to be back this weekend for its first summer run.
The cinema is a three-screen theatre, which means it can hold more than one movie, and has a huge outdoor balcony to get you a nice view of the movie.
If you haven’t seen it yet, you can check out our article on the new movie here.
Free Movies There are a few movies that are free to watch.
Here’s a list of movies that you can find at some of the local cinemas in Calgary, including: The Little Mermaid (Disney) Free movie The Little Mermaid is one of the Disney classics that can be found at all the cinemas.
It’s not the biggest film in the world, but it’s one of those classic Disney movies that still holds up well after almost 30 years.
I can’t wait to see it again in 2019.
Lucky Seven (Universal Pictures) A classic Disney film with a catchy soundtrack, this classic movie has been out of print since the 1980s.
A new release this weekend will give it a new lease of life.
The Big Lebowski (The Big Short) This movie is still a cult classic, but its popularity has faded since the mid-2000s, and it’s a little harder to find now.
Carnival of Souls (A24) The original carnival of souls was filmed in 1973, and this sequel is based on the story of a man who gets trapped in the original.
Saw it in cinemas everywhere and I loved it.
Mulan (Warner Bros.)
A remake of the Chinese film Mulan, this sequel to a franchise that started as an original film from Chinese producer Guiyu Zhang is an adaptation of the novel by J.R.
R Tolkien.
Saucer in the Sky (A24/Fox Searchlight) Based on the book of the same name by Australian writer and screenwriter Stephen Fry, this movie has a really good storyline.
Rumble in the Jungle (Fox Searchfield) Titled the Jungle Fever remake, this adaptation of a children’s book from Disney features a monkey named Monkey on the screen, and he has a lot of great lines. Gone Girl (Fox Search) Another remake, but this time a different story with a different monkey on the big screens.
What are you hoping to see this weekend in Calgary?
I’m hoping to find a good movie on the weekends before the big movie, as well as see some new movies.
There are so many movies I’m excited to see, but I don’t want to spoil the good ones just yet.
I can’t tell you the names of all the films I’m going to see (I might as well keep it to myself), but I can tell you that I’ll be attending at least two of the major film festivals, so I will be on the lookout for all the big name movies and movies that I don:t yet see.
I’ve been planning to see a lot more of the big releases this summer, but they’re not in Calgary right now.
I also hope to see some of these new releases, because the festival is going on at the end of this month, so theres still time to see the rest of the films that are available for free in Calgary.
