The Royal Cinemas of Australia says it is continuing to improve its free app for people looking to book a cinema room at the moment.
The app, which was launched last week, lets poolers check out the movie selection, set up a reservation and book a seat.
“The Royal Cinemases of Australia is committed to supporting the needs of our poolers and poolers need the app to be as useful as possible,” the company said in a statement on Thursday.
“With our current app, we are unable to provide the service to all poolers at this time.”
“As a result, we have launched our free app, Poolers, to provide an easy-to-use and convenient way to access the pool and reserve a room for use with the poolers of your choice,” the statement said.
“This is a new feature for Poolers that is still in the testing stage.
We hope Poolers will find it to be a useful tool to help them better manage their pools and stay safe.”
The app has now been downloaded more than 100,000 times, with over 1.4 million Australians using it.
“We know that there is an increasing demand for information about the pools and where they are located in Australia, and our goal is to provide this service to poolers as quickly as possible, to ensure they are aware of all the information available,” the Royal Cinemascore Australia said in the statement.
“Our goal is for the app, the information it provides and our team of staff to keep providing the pool information, which we feel is important for pool owners and their families.”
“We have a long-standing commitment to providing the information we have to pool owners in Australia and we are confident the pooler app will continue to provide that service to our pool users.”
The Royal has not yet commented on the recent release of the app.
