In 2016, Cinema Verity announced they had reached the final stage of the acquisition of the Indonesian Movie Market.
The transaction was finalized on September 26, 2017, with the cinema chain selling for around 7,500 bitcoins at a price of 1.8 million Rupiah.
They sold their cinema for an undisclosed amount.
This is a big win for cinema industry, as the film market in Indonesia is one of the most important sectors in the nation’s economy.
As Cinema Veritas cinema is a part-time business, the chain will be opening the cinema to the public for free and will be open to the general public from September 17 to October 10.
In addition to the cinema, CinemaVerity also owns a small coffee shop and has an organic grocery store in the area.
Cinema Verite has partnered with Keene Cinema Arts and has announced that it will be expanding its cinema operations in Indonesia.
The company will be partnering with a local film school, which is one step towards opening a cinema in the city of Kota.

The brand has also been in discussions with other cinemas in Jakarta that have been looking to expand their cinema operations.
